The Little Herb House

Seventeen years ago, Lisa Treadaway started the business with a vision of growing herbs and making herbal products, long before terms like 'Buy Local' or 'Farm Sustainability' were popular. The farm quickly became known for its beautiful herb gardens, classes, and workshops, attracting visitors from across the state, as well as garden clubs, authors, and the press.

The farm focuses on cultivating a variety of herbs and flowers, emphasizing hands-on learning and the practical uses of herbs. The gardens are meticulously maintained, showcasing the beauty and utility of herb cultivation.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including tours of the 10,000 sq.ft. display herb gardens, picnics, herbal luncheons, tea parties, and shopping for herbal products in a renovated horse barn. The farm also serves as a picturesque venue for outdoor weddings and receptions, accommodating up to 300 guests in the horse stable.
