About the Farm

Background

Established in 1961 and open to the public since 1968, this farm has become a landmark in the Las Vegas Valley. Over the years, it has expanded to include a variety of animals and a partnership with Barn Buddies Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abused farm animals.

Practices

The farm raises chickens, ducks, and quail that thrive in desert conditions, using pure well water and high-quality feed. Eggs are produced humanely and chemical-free, sold fresh within 24 to 48 hours. Bees are kept for local honey production, harvested several times a year. The farm also emphasizes the use of its own eggs and honey in baked goods.

The Rest

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including a pumpkin and squash patch in October, freshly canned goods, jams, and jellies when in season, and special events like birthday parties and weddings. The farm also hosts a Farmers Market, Cafe & Coffee Shop, and a community garden. Educational field trips and volunteer opportunities are available, and visitors can feed some of the animals for a small fee.
