About the Farm
Background
Jerry and Liz Eaton have been dedicated to farming for years, with Jerry having a lifelong passion for it and Liz developing an interest in local food production later in life. In 2015, they pursued USDA certification through the Ohio Ecological Food and Farming Association (OEFFA) to provide a known level of accountability to their customers. Their farm is known for its Certified Organic produce and a variety of high-quality meats available through various CSA and buying club programs.
Practices
The farm employs organic methods for growing fruits and vegetables, ensuring nutrient-dense foods grown with integrity. Their certification by the OEFFA guarantees adherence to strict program standards. They also raise 100% grassfed beef, non-GMO, silvopastured pork, and non-GMO, pastured turkey, chicken, and eggs. These practices are verified by a third-party system, providing transparency and trust to their customers.
The Rest
The farm offers flexible market-style CSA shares in Cincinnati, OH, allowing customers to choose their own meat or produce. They provide convenient, once-per-month weeknight pickups in Clifton and have an online store where customers can pre-order meats, eggs, soaps, and honey for pickup at the Hyde Park Market or in Madison by appointment.
