About the Farm
Background
Located north of Commerce, Texas, the 185-acre farm transitioned to organic production in 2000 and has since focused on producing non-certified organic beef. The farm's limited size allows for the production of about 50 animals per year, ensuring a carefully nurtured product.
Practices
Cattle are raised on grass in large fields year-round without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, artificial fertilizers, genetically modified feed, or growth-promoting agents. The beef undergoes a 14-day dry aging process before being cut and wrapped according to customer preferences.
The Rest
Customers can purchase beef by the side or whole, with all meat delivered frozen, shrink-wrapped, and labeled with the cut and weight. Detailed ordering information is available on the farm's website.
