Temalpakh Farm

Founded in 2012, Temalpakh Farm is operated by the Augustine Band of the Cahuilla Indians. The farm's name, derived from the Cahuilla word 'temalpakh' meaning 'from the earth,' reflects its commitment to organic farming and sustainable living. Known for its high standards, the farm is certified USDA organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF).

Temalpakh Farm employs sustainable farming practices, avoiding the use of pesticides, chemicals, or additives. All products are treated only with materials approved by the Organic Material Review Institute. The farm uses non-GMO seeds and adheres to rigorous standards for growing and handling produce. Their philosophy is rooted in the belief that the earth is borrowed from future generations, not inherited from ancestors.

Temalpakh Farm offers produce boxes filled with seasonal, locally grown vegetables, available from November to May. The farm also operates a market open Monday through Saturday, selling both their own produce and supplemental organic produce from local vendors. They provide wholesale options for retail establishments and restaurants, ensuring high-quality, organic produce is accessible to a broader audience.
