About the Farm
Background
Animals and farming have always been integral to Jason and Amber's lives. Their daughter Alyssa, sharing their passion, inspired the creation of the farm. Since 2013, the farm has grown to include not only pastured meat ducks and chickens but also pasture-raised eggs. The need for local processing led to the establishment of their own facility, evolving from Vermont's exemption to a USDA-inspected facility.
Practices
The farm raises poultry without the use of hormones, antibiotics, or additives. Birds are allowed to roam outside, accessing grasses, bugs, soil, and sunlight, which contribute to the natural color and flavor of the meat and eggs. This method ensures a quality that is both distinctive and flavorful.
The Rest
The farm's journey from a small operation to a USDA-inspected facility has been marked by community support, collaboration, and innovative thinking. The Hubner family expresses deep gratitude for the continued support from their community.
