Sweet Beet Farm

Founded with a commitment to organic farming, the farm has been providing quality produce, eggs, and lamb since its inception. The farm is known for its diverse range of fruits and vegetables, including heirloom and rare varieties, and has been a reliable source for both local families and independently owned restaurants.

Using exclusively organic methods, the farm rotates vegetable crops with cover crops to maintain soil health and strength. Scheduled for USDA organic certification in 2014, the farm emphasizes the importance of biodiversity and ecological balance.

CSA members receive fresh produce weekly for 18 weeks starting in June, along with farm newsletters and recipes. The farm also offers fall shares extending into the late fall and early winter months. With backgrounds in education, the owners share their knowledge through farm visits and hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, the farm tends beehives and raises chickens.
