About the Farm
Background
Founded in 1902, Sutton Farms has been a cornerstone of Butler, Pennsylvania, providing quality beef for over a century. Known for their commitment to raising cattle in a natural and healthy environment, the farm has maintained its family-run operations through multiple generations.
Practices
The cattle are raised on a 100% grass-fed diet, free from hormones and antibiotics, ensuring a natural and healthy product. All meat is processed at a USDA-certified butchering facility, adhering to strict standards of quality and safety.
The Rest
Customers can purchase beef year-round by the half (custom cut), package, or individual cut, with a variety of options including steaks, roasts, ground beef, and specialty items like soup bones and organ meats. Sutton Farms participates in several local farmers markets and offers a community pick-up program during the winter months. They accept various forms of payment including cash, credit/debit cards, and SNAP EBT. The farm is also a proud member of the Butler County Farm Bureau and the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA).
