Sunworks Farm

The farm is known for its commitment to raising a variety of animals including chickens, pork, turkeys, beef, bison, and eggs under Certified Organic and Certified Humane standards. They have established multiple farmer’s market locations and several retail locations throughout Alberta.

Chickens, turkeys, and laying hens are moved daily onto fresh grass during the summer and provided with alfalfa grass during the cold winters to ensure daily greens. Pork is raised outside year-round with access to fresh pasture. Cattle and bison are 100% grass-fed and never receive any grains during their lifetime. The farm emphasizes respect for animals, the land, the wider environment, and people, believing that raising animals organically in a healthy and low-stress environment benefits all involved.
