Sundance Farm LLC

Established in Sunman, Indiana in 2020, the farm is named after the miracle of the sun in Fatima, Portugal, to honor Our Lady of Fatima. The Calvino family moved from Southern Maryland to Indiana, driven by a series of providential signs and a desire for a larger property to accommodate their farming aspirations. The farm's house, built in the 1850s, adds historical charm to their journey of cultivating livestock and nurturing their souls.

The farm employs regenerative farming techniques, focusing on grass-fed-and-finished beef and pastured poultry. Chickens are raised in a light, open-style coop on wheels, allowing them to roam freely and consume a natural diet. The emphasis is on maintaining healthy soil and ecosystems through mindful land stewardship.

The Calvino family, a Catholic homeschooling family, extends a warm welcome to visitors and shares their farming adventures through a blog. Their journey to Indiana was marked by faith and a desire to create a nurturing environment for their family and livestock. St. Isidore, Tiller of the Soul, is invoked for guidance in their agricultural pursuits.
