Stony Ridge Lamb

Jim and Shelly Hannaford, along with their three young children, own and operate a farm outside of Des Moines, Iowa. Both grew up on rural cattle farms and, after a few years in the suburbs, felt drawn to return to their farming roots. They started their own farm to provide an excellent opportunity to raise their children with the solid values that come with raising livestock.

The Hannafords have dedicated themselves to selecting sheep that produce the highest quality meat. Their commitment is to offer gourmet lamb that satisfies even the most discerning tastes, aiming to introduce local lamb to Iowa families who may be unfamiliar with this outstanding dish.

Lamb from this farm is served in the finest restaurants and is considered a delicacy, but the Hannafords believe it also belongs on the dinner table and at backyard BBQs.
