Stony Ridge Farm

The farm began as a family vegetable garden a few years ago, gradually evolving into a small CSA that expanded over time. Recently, it joined a multi-farm CSA and started supplying produce to well-known local markets in the Waterville area.

The farm employs greenhouse cultivation to extend the growing season, allowing for the production of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and other crops well into the fall and an earlier start in the spring.

The farm is part of a broader effort to revitalize local food production in Maine, harkening back to a time when the state produced most of its own food.
