Sonshine Chicken Ranch was born out of a love for growing healthy, humanely raised food for the family. The farm is known for its pasture-raised Cornish Cross chickens and a variety of layer-breed chicks. Over the years, it has built a reputation for providing high-quality poultry and offering convenient delivery services within a 30-mile radius of several Missouri cities.

The chickens have access to green grass, sunshine, and plenty of space to forage, embodying the principles of humane and natural animal husbandry. The farm offers free delivery for purchases of 5 or more birds within a 30-mile radius of Columbia, Jefferson City, Gravois Mills, Independence, St. Louis, and New Madrid, Missouri. Smaller orders can also be delivered for free in Jefferson City on the day of chicken processing. The farm raises a variety of breeds including Splash, Blue, and Black Copper Marans, Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, Americaunas, Speckled Sussex, Salmon Faverolle, Favercauna, Cream Legbar, Welsummer, and Silkie.
