About the Farm
Background
About 25 years ago, the farm transitioned from a typical Illinois corn and soybean operation to a natural pasture-based system. The family has been serving families for over 20 years, helping them switch from processed foods to wholesome, nutritious real foods.
Practices
The farm raises chickens in portable pasture shelters with non-GMO grains and organic minerals, without hormones or antibiotics. Beef cattle are rotated to fresh pasture daily during the growing season, avoiding antibiotics, hormones, or grain supplements. This method enhances the land, animals, and food quality.
The Rest
Products are available for pick-up at the farm, with beef available in November, broiler chickens from June through December, and turkeys ready for Thanksgiving. Eggs are available year-round.
