About the Farm
Background
Located in a small valley near the Ocklockonee River in the Apalachicola National Forest, the farm is known for raising most of its cattle from birth and feeding them on irrigated pastures.
Practices
The farm employs organic methods, although it is not certified. The cattle live stress-free and pampered lives, free from antibiotics, hormones, or any unhealthy substances.
The Rest
The farm sells directly to consumers, offering 1/2 or whole animals at reasonable prices, and delivers to a popular meat processor in Climax, GA. Farm visits are welcome by appointment only.
