About the Farm
Background
Founded in 2006 by Tania Cubberly and Adam Lemieux, the farm has grown to cultivate more than 150 varieties of annual cut flowers and foliage. Known for their breathtaking dahlias and sunflowers, they have set a high benchmark for quality in their farmer's market bouquets. With 19 seasons of growing experience, Tania and Adam have shared their knowledge through workshops and classes across the East Coast and Midwest.
Practices
The farm has adhered to organic excellence since its inception, focusing on soil health through crop rotation, adding fertility, and cover cropping. They avoid harsh chemicals, farming in harmony with nature and holding organic certification from both Illinois and Maine. Their commitment extends to using materials that can be reused, repurposed, and recycled.
The Rest
The farm offers a variety of events including u-pick sessions, guided tours, floral bouquet workshops, dried floral creations, and holiday wreaths. They also run a Flower Share program with options like the Summer Bliss Bouquet share and Field Dahlia Bouquet share. Information on events, dahlia tubers, and flower shares can be found on their website.
