About the Farm
Background
Serving the southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois area, the farm market has grown to encompass a wide variety of produce and activities. Known for its extensive pick-your-own (PYO) options and fresh produce, it has become a staple in the community. The farm market also features a bakery with homemade donuts and seasonal items, adding to its local charm.
Practices
The farm dedicates over 70 acres to summer produce, including sweet corn, and 8 acres to strawberries, both PYO and pre-picked. In the fall, more than 20 acres are devoted to pumpkins and fall decorations. The farm's practices emphasize providing fresh, locally grown produce directly to consumers through both on-site sales and roadside stands.
The Rest
The fall season is particularly vibrant, featuring two corn mazes, wagon rides, weekend festivals, and school tours. The farm also grows over 30 varieties of sunflowers in a 6-acre field, blooming for a brief period in late July to early August. Visitors can enjoy a variety of baked goods from the farm's bakery, and the farm operates multiple roadside stands during the summer months.
