About the Farm
Background
Founded in the late 1800s by Jim's great grandfather who emigrated from England, this fourth-generation farm has evolved from using Belgian Draft Horses to milk cows until 2005. Beverlyann, a retired professional violinist, and Jim, who has worked the farm since he was 8 years old, have combined their passions to create a vibrant community space. The barn, built in 1932, stands as a testament to the farm's enduring legacy.
Practices
The farm is dedicated to rescuing animals and providing them with a 'Furever' home where they can laze and graze under the sun. None of the animals are bred, and the farm ensures they receive the best care possible. Visitors are encouraged to feed the goats using the farm's feed machines to maintain dietary discretion.
The Rest
The farm features a sunflower maze in memory of the owners' parents, a 'Fall Fun on the Farm' event with PYO pumpkins, hayrides, and a corn maze. The ice cream stand offers over 30 flavors, including sugar-free options, sorbet, and frozen yogurt, served in freshly baked waffle cones. The farm is cash-only but has an ATM on the premises.
