About the Farm
Background
Located in the Alhambra Valley/Briones Valley Agricultural Preserve, the ranch is situated just north of Berkeley and southwest of Martinez, California. Managed by two local ranch families, the operation focuses on raising Angus and Angus Hereford crosses.
Practices
The cattle are 100% grass-fed and roam freely in ample pasture, avoiding overcrowding. No hormones or additives are used to enhance the cattle, ensuring natural growth. The beef is USDA certified from start to finish, dry aged for 28 days, and vacuum-packed and frozen for sale.
The Rest
Beef is available in individual retail cuts, quarter mix, half steer, and whole. The entire process from harvest to finished product takes approximately 35 days. Customers can contact the ranch via email or phone for availability.
