About the Farm
Background
The ranch is located in the Alhambra Valley / Briones Valley Agricultural Preserve and has been a family operation since 1941, when Emma Sindicich married Edward Pereira, merging the Sindicich Ranch and the Seven V Ranch. The family has been involved in raising beef for their own consumption, which eventually expanded to meet the interest of friends and the local community.
Practices
The ranch is committed to the respect and humane treatment of livestock, ensuring that all cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished, and USDA inspected and processed. Pigs are fed a locally made pelleted mix to meet their higher protein dietary needs.
The Rest
The ranch is part of the 'slow food' movement and collaborates with neighboring ranchers, Alhambra Valley Beef and Pears, to supply high-quality beef and pork to the community.
