About the Farm
Background
Deb Shubat began growing and selling cut flowers wholesale to Duluth florists in 1980, and the farm found its current location in 1993. The farm also has a booth at the Duluth Farmer's Market.
Practices
The farm's gardens grow un-certified organic vegetables, and they offer u-pick cut flowers, primarily for weddings.
The Rest
Deb Shubat holds farm tours for school groups and other interested groups. Some internships have been available for credit through the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD). The farm also makes and sells value-added products such as kimchi and crackers.
