Robin Rau began with a small flock of sheep to provide lamb for her family, driven by a desire for higher meat quality compared to confinement systems. Over time, the flock expanded into a respected source of Dorper genetics in the United States and beyond.

The farm employs rotational grazing on managed pastures, allowing sheep to range and forage naturally. The focus on pasture-based systems enhances meat quality and animal welfare. The farm is Animal Welfare Approved.

The Dorper breed is chosen for its good mothering abilities, adaptation to hot climates, frequent twins, and high tolerance to parasites. Grassfed lamb is available directly from the farm.
