About the Farm
Background
Located a stone's throw from Lake Champlain in Charlotte, VT, the farm began with a few sheep and bee hives. Over time, it expanded to include about 1/2 an acre of vegetable and fruit production, pastured heritage-breed Icelandic sheep, guard llamas, Belted Galloway cattle, and heritage poultry. The farm's products are available at the Shelburne Farmers Market in the summer and the Middlebury Farmers Market in the winter, as well as directly from the farm or through yourfarmstand.com.
Practices
Committed to Organic growing principles, the farm operates as an interconnected ecosystem where each component supports the others. The animals are pastured, contributing to the health of the land while benefiting from it in return.
The Rest
The farm also engages in various side projects, adding to its diversified approach. Visitors can find the farm's products at local farmers markets and online.
