They observed that most urban food is sourced from distant locations, often from foreign countries, resulting in a loss of flavor and nutrient value due to extensive handling and transportation.

Scintilla Farms focuses on urban farming, aiming to provide the freshest possible produce to local restaurants and households. The farm ensures that their produce, including fennel, dill, leek, and chard, is delivered on the same day it is harvested, minimizing nutrient loss and maximizing flavor.
