About the Farm

Background

Since 2015, the farm has been known for its delightful fusion of relaxation, laughter, and adorable baby goats through its goat yoga classes. Over seven seasons, they have raised an impressive $45,000 for various charities, supporting both human and animal causes. Despite setbacks during the pandemic, they continued their charitable efforts, contributing significantly to local food pantries and other community initiatives.

Practices

The farm emphasizes the socialization of their goats from birth, ensuring they are comfortable with human interaction and other animals. This approach allows the goats to grow into adulthood with little fear of human handlers. The farm integrates playful goat-kids into yoga sessions, enhancing the experience with their natural antics. The co-owner, a veterinarian, provides specialized care for small ruminants, ensuring the health and well-being of the goats.

The Rest

The farm offers goat yoga classes, known as Caprine Vinyasa, where participants practice yoga alongside young goat companions. These classes are held in the Boylston Room in the Keystone Building, Easthampton, and are designed to provide a unique and joyful experience. The farm also arranges private sessions and can bring the class to different locations. Their efforts have supported various charitable causes, including the Easthampton Community Center and the Easthampton Farmer’s Market SNAP Matching program.
