About the Farm
Background
The farm began raising Scottish Highlands cattle in 1998 and received a license to sell packaged meat in August of 2007. Known for their nutritious, high-quality beef, the farm has built a reputation for producing tender and delicious meat that is naturally higher in protein and lower in fat and cholesterol.
Practices
The cattle are naturally raised without steroids, hormones, or antibiotics. The meat contains no preservatives, nitrates, or MSG. The Scottish Highlands cattle, originating from the Highlands of Scotland, are grass-fed and have a thick hide and hair, reducing the need for fat production. The meat is handled minimally and frozen immediately to reduce contamination risk.
