About the Farm
Background
The orchard was established 29 years ago when the owners planted 300 apple trees in 1982. Since then, they have expanded to nearly 5000 trees and now offer over 15 varieties of apples.
Practices
The orchard operates on a traditional model, focusing on apple cultivation and cider production. The converted 110-year-old dairy barn, adorned with hundreds of old feed sacks, serves as a unique venue for displaying their products.
The Rest
In addition to apples and cider, the orchard sells jams, jellies, pickles, hot sauces, pumpkins, hand-painted pottery, and wooden kitchen utensils, all made in America. They host an annual harvest festival featuring tractor rides, a petting zoo, pick-your-own apples, various vendors, and live music. The orchard is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM from the last week of August until they run out of apples in November.
