About the Farm

Background

The property was first cultivated by a Finnish family who built a homestead and a small strawberry farm. When the current farmers began in 2009, only the rock walls from the original farm remained. Today, the farm has grown into a vertically integrated system producing quality, nutrient-dense food.

Practices

The farm employs responsible stewardship of the land, thoughtful use of resources, and organic growing practices. They utilize season extension techniques with six hoop houses to grow crops like melons and artichokes in a harsh climate. Pastured poultry and pork are raised and humanely butchered on-site. Compost is made using waste from local fisheries and wood chips from a local mill, and is applied to all gardens.

The Rest

Farm to Fork Catering is available from July to September, offering fresh and unique dishes for events. Farm fresh flowers are also available for events and weddings.
