Riverfront Farm

Riverfront Farm at the Barn is the fifth and newest site of the West Sacramento Urban Farm Program, located next to the Barn in The Bridge District. The farm is approximately 1/4 acre and is situated in an exciting, up-and-coming location in West Sacramento. The Barn, an architectural gem, houses Drakes Brewery and hosts various events throughout the year. Much of the farm's produce is featured in the menu at Drakes.

Produce from this farm is grown without the use of chemicals, focusing on practices that are beneficial for both the earth and consumers. The farm specializes in growing a variety of crops including summer squash, cucumbers, basil, tomatoes, melons, radish, greens, eggplant, peppers, beans, carrots, and beets.

The farm is part of a broader initiative by the Center for Land-Based Learning, which has been helping aspiring farmers and environmental stewards for over 30 years. The organization offers various programs and opportunities for community involvement, including a Mobile Farmers Market Truck and volunteer events at Riverfront Farm. Visitors can participate in activities such as weeding, harvesting, and planting, and receive a free bag of veggies to enjoy.
