About the Farm

Background

Since 2000, the RIDGE Project has been committed to building a legacy of strong families through evidence-based programs and initiatives. The CSA service, RIDGE Gardens, was inaugurated as a natural extension of their mission to strengthen families by providing access to fresh, quality food. The proceeds from the CSA support the overall mission and programming of the RIDGE Project, which includes services for families impacted by incarceration.

Practices

RIDGE Gardens employs organic farming methods to grow their produce, ensuring that the food provided to CSA members is of the highest quality. The emphasis on organic practices reflects their commitment to health and well-being, both for the land and the community they serve.

The Rest

As a CSA member, individuals not only receive fresh produce but also become partners in the RIDGE Project's broader mission to empower families. The RIDGE Project offers a range of evidence-based programs aimed at transforming individuals and communities, including the TYRO program, which has shown significant success in reducing recidivism and promoting strong family commitments.
