About the Farm
Background
Revive The Roots is situated on 23 acres of land, with 18 acres open to the public year-round. Known for its community garden plots, walking trails, forest garden, and annual production fields, it has become a hub for community engagement and environmental stewardship. Over the past two years, they have grown over 4000 pounds of fresh produce for hunger relief and logged more than 5000 volunteer hours in the past year.
Practices
Revive The Roots prioritizes shared resources and a collective vision to responsibly steward land for future generations. Their approach is deeply rooted in permaculture principles, emphasizing sustainable practices that benefit both people and the environment. The farm's commitment to education and community building is evident in their diverse programming, which includes internships, CSA, and various adult and kids programs.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking trails, music and art events, and renting garden plots.
