About the Farm
Background
Renew Farms was officially started in March 2011 by plant artisan Ian Giusto on his family's land in Newnan, GA. Shortly afterwards, Ian met an aspiring beekeeper, and now wife, Alishia. They joined forces in October 2011 and, with the help of both families, created what Renew Farms is today.
Practices
The farm employs natural and sustainable farming techniques on one acre of land. Vegetables, fruits, and berries are cultivated with care, while chickens and ducks are raised for their eggs. These birds forage on grass, select farm vegetables, and all-natural feed supplements.
The Rest
Produce from the farm is marketed through relationships with local chefs, farmers' market managers, and community supported agriculturalists.
