About the Farm
Background
For over 20 years, this farm has been cultivating the land at nature's pace, growing hundreds of varieties of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruits. The farm is now a community-supported agriculture (CSA) operation.
Practices
Using natural organic methods, the farm employs drip irrigation with untreated water from a deep-well to conserve water. Seeds used are saved, heirloom, organic, certified organic, and open-pollinated, with a strict policy against GMO seeds. The farm's hens are pastured and free-range, ensuring they lay eggs at will in a natural environment.
The Rest
Greenhouses enable year-round farming, allowing the farm to operate through all four seasons. The farm is dedicated to promoting and modeling the small family farm by growing natural foods that sustain the land, neighbors, and souls.
