About the Farm
Background
Rebop Farm has established itself as a cornerstone of the local community, known for its commitment to organic practices and a diverse range of livestock. Over the years, it has become a trusted source for raw milk, retail meats, and a meat CSA, fostering a deep connection with the community it serves.
Practices
The farm employs intensive grazing techniques for its Jersey dairy cows and Katahdin sheep, ensuring the animals contribute to soil health and watershed stewardship. Heritage turkeys, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and pigs are pastured, promoting animal well-being and ecological balance. These practices reflect a philosophy that prioritizes the health of the land, animals, and ultimately, the customers.
The Rest
Visitors are welcomed to a well-stocked farm store open daily from 9 am to 7 pm, offering not only farm-produced goods but also local vegetables, fruit, Vermont-grown flour and cornmeal, coffee, maple syrup, honey, ferments, eggs, cheese, and cheesemaking supplies. The farm also hosts events, dinners, and workshops, further engaging with the community.
