Pura Vida Farm

Located south of Lethbridge, Alberta, the farm is run by Wayne and Anne Wikkerink along with their three sons, JR, Dawson, and Joseph. The farm is known for its breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and its dedication to producing high-quality beef and poultry.

The farm employs management-intensive grazing (MiG) techniques, moving Purebred Angus and Gelbvieh cattle daily to ensure they consume the best nutrients on irrigated pastures. The animals are born and raised on the farm, spending their entire lives on pastures and are fully traceable. The farm also raises chickens in safe, movable pens during the summer months, and uses donkeys for predator control. No growth hormones or antibiotics are used in their production processes.

The farm is certified by Food Alliance and offers a full line of products including jerky, smokies, garlic ring, mixed quarters, and halves, available both on the farm and at retail locations. Whole chickens are also available on the farm and at retail locations. Visitors are always welcome.
