Potomac Vegetable Farms

For over half a century, the farm has been dedicated to growing and selling vegetables that are both delicious and nutritious. Known for their commitment to the land, they have developed a reputation for their unique 'Ecoganic' approach, which emphasizes organic practices without seeking formal certification.

The farm employs a variety of organic methods to maintain and enhance soil health. They produce their own rich compost and use rock powders, natural minerals, and sea products to ensure nutrient-dense food. Winter cover crops and summer green manure crops are integral to their farming philosophy, keeping soil microbes vibrant and healthy.

Produce is sold through two roadside stands, a CSA program, and at farmers markets. The farm also offers educational tours and field trips for all ages, providing insights into local and sustainable agriculture.
