Port Hudson Organics

Located just outside of Zachary, Louisiana, Port Hudson Organics has been operating as a CSA since the 2009 season. Known for its commitment to organic farming, the farm has expanded its team with the addition of Grant and Allison Guidroz as full-time farmers in 2015. The farm has faced challenging years but continues to thrive, offering an abundance of produce and farm honey.

Port Hudson Organics employs organic farming methods, eschewing synthetic chemicals and GMOs. The farm utilizes a 2,100 square foot greenhouse equipped with drip irrigation to grow a variety of vegetables and herbs, ensuring year-round production regardless of weather conditions. The farm's practices emphasize soil health and crop diversity, with a focus on seasonal produce.

The farm offers a CSA membership and encourages visits to experience their organic adventure firsthand. They also sell produce directly on weekends and have an abundance of farm honey, which makes for great holiday gifts.
