About the Farm
Background
The story begins in Kent, WA, where Paul grew up on his dad's dairy. In 1964, the family moved the dairy to Lewis County, WA. Paul and his spouse took over the dairy in 1975 after Paul's dad retired. They transitioned to Certified Organic in 2000 and shifted to full-time beef production in 2006. With approximately 40 years of experience, they have built a reputation for providing nutritious and safe beef.
Practices
The farm practices pasture-feeding, only bringing animals into barns during inclement weather where they are fed grass and silage from their own fields. They avoid the use of antibiotics, hormones, commercial fertilizers, and herbicides, adhering to organic principles. The focus is on maintaining healthy animals and producing tender, delicious meat.
The Rest
The farm offers beef for sale on the hoof or in halves, with local connections for slaughter and processing. They welcome visitors and are conveniently located just one mile from I-5 at exit 72. The farm has a long history of family involvement, with children growing up working on the farm and enjoying pure milk and beef.
