About the Farm
Background
In 2015, the farm began offering a CSA, providing a direct connection between the farm and local consumers. From June until Thanksgiving, they sell pastured meats and organic veggies and fruits from their farmstand located just off the Diagonal Highway. Additionally, their products can be found at the Boulder Farmers Market on Saturdays from April to November.
Practices
The farm grows vegetables organically, continually striving to build healthier soils and grow more efficiently. They take environmental sustainability into account in all their decisions, actively working to improve soils and build diverse ecosystems. Their Berkshire pigs live outside with access to warm, straw-filled shelters, eat organic grains, and can root, wallow, and run around freely.
The Rest
The farm believes that farming should be done with care and respect for land, animals, and humans. They farm out of a love for food and their local community, believing that sharing good food with good people contributes greatly to health and happiness. They eat what they grow and love what they eat.
