Pfeister Farms, LLC

The land has been in the family since the 1870s, with the current generation being the sixth to steward it. The farm is in the process of transitioning back into a working family economy.

The farm models its agricultural system after a natural ecosystem, supporting diverse species of plants and animals within the same space. Pastures and food production areas are free of synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides/herbicides. Animal feeds do not contain GMOs, and animals are treated humanely with access to clean water, fresh air, sunshine, lush pasture, and room to move. Animals are not given antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines. Inputs are minimized using sustainable farming techniques designed to improve the land. The farm is not certified by any third-party, as they aim to exceed certification standards through their practices.

Customers are welcome to visit the farm by appointment to see where their food comes from and how it is raised. The farm emphasizes developing a trusting relationship with customers and ensures that they only sell products they would feed their own family.
