Practices
The farm employs low-stress methods to handle their beef cattle, ensuring the animals are mature and grass-finished without the use of antibiotics, chemical parasite control products, or growth-promoting implants. The pastures are maintained without herbicides, pesticides, or artificial fertilizers. Guardian dogs are used to protect livestock from predators. All meat is provincially inspected and aged for 21 to 30 days before being sold fresh-frozen.
The Rest
Meat is available year-round and can be purchased at farmers' markets in Vancouver or through mail order, with a 50-pound boxed selection of frozen meat available for home delivery. Special cuts and pet food can be requested, and pricing is F.O.B. Williams Lake, BC.
