The farm is a multi-generational family-owned business with a strong commitment to providing high-quality meats and eggs. They are known for their dedication to not selling anything they wouldn't feed their own children.

Practices

Managed Intensive Grazing is the cornerstone of their farming philosophy, ensuring that cattle are never fed grain, growth hormones, or antibiotics. The farm raises Red Angus and Hereford cattle selected for smaller frame sizes, which thrive on a grass diet. In winter, the cattle are fed hay and have access to free-choice salt and minerals. Hogs, a cross of Hereford and Berkshire breeds, are raised outdoors on dirt and fed non-GMO corn and soybean meal. Pastured chickens and turkeys are raised for meat and eggs, fed a non-medicated mix of non-GMO corn and soybean meal, and moved to pasture after a few weeks. Katahdin sheep are also raised on pasture and sold as 100% grassfed lamb. No petroleum-based pesticides or fertilizers are used on the pastures, emphasizing the importance of healthy soil for healthy plants, animals, and people.
