Based on time-honored traditions of hard work and first-class customer service, this farm has been providing high-quality beef to the local community and beyond. The primary motivation for starting the farm was a desire to know the origins and quality of their meat, ensuring it is safe and free from harmful chemicals.

The farm raises functional and productive cattle without the use of growth hormones or artificial supplements. Cattle are treated humanely and efforts are made to avoid causing them undue stress. The beef is processed in USDA or Missouri Department of Agriculture inspected facilities. The farm manages a smaller herd to ensure better care, cattle health, and improved daily weight gain while protecting natural resources. During summer, when pasture growth slows, cattle are supplemented with high-protein hay, calcium, and phosphate, along with free-choice natural minerals.

Visitors to the farm can see the cattle and horses in the pastures. Grass-fed beef from this farm is noted for its health benefits, including less total fat, more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, more conjugated linoleic acid, and more antioxidant vitamins such as Vitamin E. Studies have shown that grass-fed beef has a more desirable lipid profile and higher levels of cancer-fighting antioxidants compared to grain-fed beef.
