Practices

Oxbow Cattle Company raises cattle that have never received grain, growth hormones, or antibiotics. The cattle graze on lush pastures within 10 miles of Missoula, enjoying a healthy life with minimal stress. The ranch is dedicated to improving the ecological integrity of the land, treating the cows with respect, and handling them without undue stress. Their beef is processed locally, dry-aged for 10–14 days, and vacuum-sealed to ensure freshness.

The Rest

Oxbow Cattle Company offers frozen, vacuum-sealed, grass-finished beef by the whole, half, quarter, and eighth of beef, as well as a burger box. Discounts are available for larger orders, and the company encourages group purchases for the best price. Their beef is available at several local grocery stores and restaurants, and they welcome visitors at the Missoula Farmer’s Market.
