About the Farm
Background
Founded in 2007, the farm has been dedicated to providing Boulder County with nutrient-dense produce. The name 'Ollin' is derived from an Aztec word meaning constant motion or transformation. The farm is known for its community engagement, educational programs, and collaboration with local schools and scientists.
Practices
The farm employs a nutrient-dense farming model focused on enriching the soil with the right nutrients in the right proportions. All produce is grown without pesticides or herbicides, not even organic-approved ones. The farm adheres to regenerative agriculture principles, aiming to produce high-quality products while enhancing ecosystem diversity and health.
The Rest
The farm offers a variety of products including arugula, bok choy, basil, green beans, and many more. It hosts community events such as youth classes, field trips, farm dinners, and a Sunday Family Concert Series. The farm has also presented at the United Nations and collaborates with scientists to track ecosystem data. More information and concert tickets are available online.
