About the Farm

Background

About three years ago, the Wilsons transitioned from the fast-paced metroplex to a tranquil small farm in Luella, just outside of Sherman. They initially started a garden to eat healthier and control their food sources, which quickly flourished beyond their expectations, leading them to sell the surplus.

Practices

Heirloom vegetables are cultivated without the use of harsh pesticides and herbicides, ensuring a cleaner, more natural product. The farm also emphasizes diverse production, including fruit, pecans, honey, and pastured eggs.

The Rest

In addition to fresh produce, the farm offers homemade breads, pickles, jam, and a popular jalapeno powder. Products are available directly from the farm and at the Sherman Farmers Market in historic downtown Sherman. The Wilsons are enthusiastic about their journey and invite visitors to share in their experience.
