About the Farm

Background

Located off HWY 12 East in Glenoma, WA, the farm is endorsed by county, state, and federal agencies, and is listed under national groups such as USDA, APHIS, NPIP, and the USDA Minority Farm Register. The farm supplies eggs to stores in Morton, Randle, and Packwood, and prioritizes doing business locally whenever possible.

Practices

The farm operates as a spray-free zone, honored by the county from border to border of the land. They maintain a free-range environment for their chickens and goats, and are currently working with the Lewis County Conservation District to develop a land management plan. The farm stays updated on all relevant issues and holds a state's Food Workers Permit.

The Rest

The farm is establishing a small orchard of fruits and berries, along with a seasonal garden that includes many herbs and flowers. They offer pamphlets and CDs on their practices, thanks to USDA teacher guides for students of all ages.
