Background

For over fifty years, this family-run farm has been raising top-grade apples and pears in the Hood River Valley and Columbia Gorge region. Three generations have contributed to its reputation as an important fruit grower. The farm also distributes to local and regional businesses and eateries, and participates in numerous community partnerships.

Practices

The orchard is located at the base of Mt. Hood, where tree-ripened fruit is grown with care and consideration for the environment. The farm emphasizes the importance of family farming and aims to sustain the legacy of its founders for future generations.

The Rest

Visitors can enjoy u-picking, picnic spaces, photography opportunities, a seasonal pumpkin patch, and farm-to-table dinners. The farm also offers a serene wedding venue framed by views of Mount Hood and surrounded by apple and pear trees. Additionally, the farm produces Golden Row Hard Cider and features the Grateful Vineyards Tasting Room, which opened in 2016.
