About the Farm
Background
Located in the rolling hills of Harvey County, this farm has become known for its commitment to natural farming methods and animal welfare.
Practices
Rotational grazing with multiple species, including cows, pigs, and chickens, keeps the pastures healthy and the animals well-cared for. Cows are kept on a herbivore diet without antibiotics, hormones, or steroids. Pigs follow the cows, using their snouts to explore the paddock, while chickens in a portable hen house scratch for leftovers and provide eggs with dark, golden yolks.
The Rest
Fresh produce is available during the growing season, and artisan breads are available year-round. Farm tours are offered each Saturday at 2 pm by appointment.
