Moon Farm

Located in Diamond, OH, just east of Ravenna, this farm has become known for its innovative aquaponic systems and regenerative techniques. The farm is operated by Alex, who has cultivated a community-supported agriculture (CSA) model that delivers fresh produce, eggs, and microgreens year-round. The farm also participates in the Hudson Farmer's Market from June to October.

Utilizing aquaponics, koi provide natural nutrition to an indoor greenhouse, enabling the year-round growth of lettuce, herbs, and leafy greens like arugula, kale, and basil. The farm follows no-till and no-spray methods, emphasizing regenerative practices. They raise a variety of animals including goats, chickens, ducks, coturnix quail, and heritage rabbits such as American blues and New Zealand breeds. Eggs and meat are available, although supply may vary.

The farm offers a 5-item CSA subscription with free delivery and composting services. They also provide a 'Salad Bowl Bundle' featuring fresh artisanal lettuce, baby greens, and microgreens.
